Coronavirus

As I sit here this morning my heart is overwhelmed with care and concern for people all over the world. Coronavirus has definitely increased stress and panic globally.

We continue to pray for those who are being affected by the virus, for our economy and for a breakthrough in its eradication.

In atmospheres of stress and panic, we find people become rude, angry, violent, isolated and fearful.

For the Church I wanted to say – God is with you – don’t go down the anxiety road, be aware, be present.

“Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:5-7

Our Hope is in Jesus and the finished work of the cross, our peace comes when we choose to trust Him then His peace will guard our hearts and our minds.

Our faith is made stronger when we put our trust in God through the hard times we encounter.

We trust Him in all times!

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

What is seen is temporary!

We are instructed to fix our eyes on what is unseen, the plans and purposes, the overcoming, the victory and the eternal life we have in Jesus Christ.

This is a good time for the Church to shine, with care and love to those around us, to bring the love of God and share the confidence and peace we have in Him.

Blessings to you all.
